blueys, boomerang & Elizabeth beaches

If patrolled beaches are for you, then less than 15 minutes drive will get you to these beaches.  There are coffee and snack shops nearby.

cellito beach

Ten minutes drive takes you to the pristine Cellito Beach.  The 100m boardwalk through the littoral rainforest provides a breathtaking entrance to this unspoilt beach.  The northern end is protected by a small headland.  Great for surfing yourself or just watching the local dolphins have a surf!

SCUBA DIVING AT SEAL ROCKS


The accompanying photos were taken by one of our guests who had an AMAZING time scuba diving off Seal Rocks.   Dive boats are available from Forster.

Smiths lake village & shopping


The local village shops include a small general grocery (limited range), fish'n'chip shop, bakery, butcher and bottle shop.  The Frothy Coffee Café is located on the waterfront at the start of Amaroo Drive.  A full range of shops is available at Forster, which is about 35 minutes drive.

mountain Biking, wallingat National Park


The nearby Wallingat National Park not only offers some great scenic drives, but also some fantastic mountain bike rides for all the family.  The closest entry to the park is only 10 minutes drive from Aero (2.2km west of Tarbuck Bay on the Lakes Way).  Contact us for some ride info sheets: a 11.3km easy ride through tall tress and palms, and a longer 15km ride which includes tall tree, palms, and river side track.
