Sadly the rain prevented us to use the kayaks, but the warmth of the fire and heaters, in this huge family home made our stay exceptional. There is everything you would need here, a massive kitchen with every plate, pot, glass ever required. Basic food supplies, if you forget your tea and coffee. But a fantastic bakery, liquor store and super market is at the end of the road. Location, location, sitting y the fire enjoying a wine at the spectacular lake view. Beds are all comfortable. The entire place is clean. With toys, board games, video, dvd, magazines. There is so much space with two lounge areas, so staying with family and friends you really get to have your own space if you need. Water pressure was perfect and warm. Communication with the owners was super quick. HIGHLY recommend staying here, anytime of the year.

We spent a weekend at Aero and loved it! The location is absolutely amazing with our own private lakefront where we thoroughly enjoyed kayaking with perfect weather, which was a lot of fun. The views of the lake are amazing from most part of the house. We strolled to the boatshed coffee shop nearby which was an easy 20 minutes walk away. The house had everything we needed and the fireplace was a hit. Thoroughly enjoyed our time at Aero!

Aero is an incredibly comfortable home in a serene environment. It had everything we needed and plenty of space for 2 separate families to relax. Our boys particularly enjoyed the kayaking on the lake and we enjoyed relaxing in the various living areas. We would highly recommend Aero to any future visitors

Great house for all ages family holiday. A very good family house, with lots of space upstairs and downstairs. Very nice and spacious interiors with tasteful and comfortable furnishing. We were a family including teenagers to 80+ year old grandparents. Super view from the balcony. Very peaceful location with many birds visiting. Easy to swim in the lake directly from the property - even my 80 year old Mum managed this. Good kitchen equipment. Easy parking for 2 cars. Very good quality general store, bakery and liquor store plus takeaway at nearby shopping centre in Smith's Lake. Free use of the kayaks was a bonus. Very easy access to nearby beaches, including Cellito beach and Seal Rocks.

Sue's house was perfect for our family holiday. There was oodles of space in a beautiful setting. I couldn't get enough of looking out at the trees and the lake. The kitchen had everything you could possibly need, there were comfy beds, spacious lounge areas and a lovely verandah. We enjoyed the kayaks, great local beaches and walks, and the fire kept us warm and cosy of an evening. As well, all communication with Sue was prompt and helpful. What more could you ask for? Sue was a fantastic host and the house was amazing. A few steps out the back door and you are on the shores of the lake, and the kayaking gear was fantastic. Wonderful stay by the lake. Great lake house, very comfortable and spacious for a group of 5 friends. Love the large upstairs lounge area, we spent the evening watching a storm through the panoramic windows. Could not be any closer to the lake. The included kayaks were a great addition. Great house. We stayed in school holidays and although the weather was very windy most of the time all the kids were not bored. They fished & stayed out in the kayaks till dusk! Great retreat. We had a great, relaxing stay at Aero. The kitchen is well stocked with utensils, crockery and everything you could need. Upstairs is spacious, light-filled and airy with views of the bush and lake from every window. Lots of birdlife and we also spotted a possum. It was great to have use of the kayaks and have the lake so close.

Located in a quiet spot with direct access to Smiths Lake this property is surrounded by trees and has abundant bird life. Spacious upper level is excellent for all the family. Large kitchen and living areas with balcony overlooking the lake. We had 3 generations staying and everyone could find space to make their own. Very peaceful at night. The property is also a short drive from a number of excellent beaches. The property is well equipped and for us the kayaks were a hit with everyone. Highly recommend this property for families.Best holiday house ever! We have stayed at Aero twice this year and already booking another stay. Perfect holiday home for 2 families!
We stayed at Aero for a week during the summer school holidays, 2 families with 2 teenagers each. We all loved the house! The setting is the best we could imagine: direct access to the lake, perfect for 'kids fishing'. The house is just perfect to accommodate parents and children. The children have their own living area downstairs, TV and DVD, 4 beds bedroom and access to the lower deck leading to the garden and the lake. The adults have their own living area upstairs, very roomy and comfortable: with the upper deck overlooking the garden and the lake, lovely for a BBQ dinner and a glass of wine, watching the kids fishing on the lake shore. The house was very clean and the kitchen was very well supplied with all utensils (pots/pans/cutlery-very good knives!/dishes etc). The dishwasher (very quiet!) was very useful for 8 people staying in the house. Plenty of bench space to cook up a storm. The local small shopping centre has a great butcher, bakery and a mini supermarket that provided all we needed for a week. Bottle shop too. We tried the hairdresser and the beautician working at the salon, thumbs up for the haircut and the massage! We definitely want to come back!

We had an amazing time at Aero. We loved having the lake just outside our doorstep. Perfect setting in a spacious house where everything we needed was well presented and thought of for us. It was cosy spending the evenings chatting all together about the day as we prepared dinner in the gourmet kitchen and then sitting by the fire planning our next holiday here. We will come again.

Was a lovely place to stay. Grandparents from afar had the upstairs. Perfect to enjoy the view and not needing to deal with many stairs. More able bodies were able to enjoy the private downstairs with almost immediate lake access. Lots of space to spread out and plenty of beds for all the family. A good distance from Sydney and Newcastle as everyone felt they were away and on a holiday. Aero had everything we needed for our family. The grandparents watch from the balcony whilst the rest of the family spent time at the water's edge. A memorable family holiday to be repeated.

Super easy booking process with Sue and lovely house with everything you need for a great relaxing self-sufficient stay. Given the size and set up of the place, I'm guessing it would be great for families with kids (we were 4 adults and there was a lot of room to spare). Private access to the lake was fantastic for a quick dip whenever we had the urge and a short drive to the beach made it the perfect location for a fun long weekend! Hope to come back sometime soon!

Aero is such a great house to holiday in. There is plenty of space to chill out and read a book when you need moments of peace. The kitchen is well stocked, in fact the house had everything we needed. We felt really at home in this house and will definitely come back.
